Marketing and Communications invites you to preview and submit events to the new university events calendar at https://calendar.lr.edu.

The new university calendar is part of the website redesign project and presents a more engaging view of events at Lenoir-Rhyne (all three LR campus locations) and will replace the current calendar on the LR website. As part of the calendar launch, Marketing and Communications is scheduling a couple upcoming “tech talks” on Feb. 18-19 on how to use the calendar as well as how to market and promote LR events. A video recording of the session will be made available for those unable to attend.

The new calendar includes many new social engagement features that are available when visitors create an account and log in using a Lenoir-Rhyne ID, Google, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn account. Once logged in, visitors can interact with events of interest, add events to work or personal calendars, share on social media or create an email digest of events of interest. More information about the calendar is available on the web redesign blog

The new calendar offers multiple views into events, including by event type, department, group, building or campus location.

How to Submit LR Events to Calendar

Lenoir-Rhyne faculty, staff and students can easily add events to the calendar by clicking the “Submit an Event” button on the calendar homepage and logging in using a Lenoir-Rhyne ID. Events are reviewed and approved to the calendar by the Marketing and Communications staff. A links to the calendar policy and guidelines and recommended best practices are included on the “Submit an Event” form. Please note: All in-person campus events require a completed EMS room reservation before being submitted to the new calendar.
